Common Water Heater Issues

Water heaters are pretty stalwart devices, and most of them perform their jobs without a fuss year in and year out. But just like any other appliance, they can run into problems from time to time. Sadly, many of those problems stem from neglect or lack of proper care, which is why we strongly recommend servicing your water heater once or twice a year to help stop those problems in the bud. Sometimes, repairs are inevitable, however. Issues will arise either on their own as a part of general wear and tear, or because of damage inflicted by any number of causes. Get the Grease Traps in Your Restaurant Serviced

The term is FOG, which stands for Fats, Oils and Grease. If you work in the plumbing business, you know exactly how much trouble they can be: poured down the drain in hot liquid form, only to cool and solidify in the pipes and create a bad clog. In residential homes, we recommend that people never pour such materials down the drain, but rather put them in a coffee can until they cool, then throw them in the trash. Restaurants, however, rarely have that luxury due to the sheer volume of food they produce as part of their business. And here in Henderson, NV, restaurants are one of the staples of our economy.
